Gathering of all parties to examine the nation's disaster condition

 

Thirty-four gates are open Malangwa (Sarlahi), 12 October: 34gates out of 36 Damon in Bagmati Municipality-11 Karmaiya of Sarlahi have been opened. Due to practical problems, two doors have only been opened mentally.

An all-party meeting has been called by the acting prime minister, Prakashman Singh, to review the crisis scenario, which includes the loss of life and property caused by landslides and floods brought on by rain throughout the county.

     The Singh personal secretariat has announced that the all-party meeting will be held at the Prime Minister's Office, Singha Durbar, at 1:00 pm.

On Saturday, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, the top security officer, secretaries, chief secretary, and other officials provided briefings to Officiating Prime Minister Singh regarding the state of the monsoon-induced calamity. His secretariat reports that the National calamity Risk Reduction and Management Authority, through the National Emergency Operations Center, has coordinated the complete mobilization of all government apparatus to assist those impacted by the calamity.
