NOWADAYS, DENGUE IS BEING VERY VIRAL DISEASE IN EVERY AREA

The number of patients with dengue and scrub typhus infection has skyrocketed at the Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku.

Dr. Yubanidhi Basaula, the hospital's director, claims that within the previous week, the facility has observed a rise in cases, making it difficult to manage a sufficient number of patient beds. There are 55 patients with these infections being admitted at the moment, and eight of them seek treatment every day on average.

The hospital has seen 195 instances of dengue, 13 cases of scrub typhus, and 71 cases of snakebite since mid-August. Dr. Basaula stressed that these illnesses can be lethal if not medically handled on time. The hospital has 85 beds at the moment, even though it is allowed to have 100.
