After intense monsoon rains in Nepal caused the Bagmati River to overflow, a guy with a sack of flour wades through the floodwaters.

Because of the persistent rains, the administration has decided to open the routes that have been obstructed by landslides and floods right away.

Acting Prime Minister Prakashman Singh chaired an emergency coordination meeting at Singh Durbar today, during which the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport was instructed to simulate unlocking the blocked highways.

According to Prithvi Subba Gurung, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the appropriate ministries were directed by the conference to plan for the prompt provision of basic amenities like telephone, power, and drinking water.

The gathering also voted to set up free medical care for those hurt in natural catastrophes and to legally offer consolation and compensation to the relatives of the departed.

The government spokesperson, Minister Gurung, announced that all current exams in the nation will be postponed due to the interruption of the transportation infrastructure caused by floods, landslides, and inundation.
