He added that the people of Kashmir have been suffering the most and facing the harshest forms of control. The president appealed to the world community in general and the United Nations in particular to make India responsible for its severe human rights violations and to facilitate the occurrence of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute settlement as per UN Security Council resolutions. He reiterated the commitment of the people of Pakistan to stand by Kashmiris in all three ways—morally, politically, and diplomatically, as per the press release.In his message, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif labeled the day of 27 October 1947 as the worst day in the history of Kashmir. He paid homage to the bravery and fortitude of the Kashmiri people, observing India’s deeds since 5 August 2019.
