Prime Minister Balendra Shah has also told Health and Population Minister Nisha Mehta in Kathmandu. The Prime Minister's Secretariat says that Minister Mehta has also been told about the problems with Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security Deepak Kumar Shah.
Ravi Lamichhane, the president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), told Prime Minister Shah to warn Health and Population Minister Nisha Mehta for not taking his job seriously enough. The Central Disciplinary Commission said that Deepak Kumar Shah was put back on the board because he was elected as an MP and then appointed as a minister.
Prime Minister Shah fired Sah on Thursday, as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had suggested. On Thursday, RSS President Rabi Lamichhane told the Prime Minister to do something about Labor Minister Sah for abusing his position as a minister. He also suggested that the prime minister involve Sah's wife in her normal duties as a member of the long-dormant Health Insurance Board.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Central Disciplinary Commission of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had submitted a report to the party demanding action against Sah after conducting a detailed study on the matter. RSP President Lamichhane had submitted the report along with the recommendation to Prime Minister Shah, concluding that Minister Shah's actions would seriously damage the party's image, ideals, principles, and dignity.
