Today, the Supreme Court received ten writ petitions opposing the dissolution of the House of Representatives. According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the hearing for the writ petitions has been set for October 29. Among other things, the ten writ petitions filed on Tuesday have asked for a mandamus order to reinstate the Parliament, revoke the dissolution of Parliament, and revoke the Prime Minister's appointment. Advocates Yubaraj Poudel, Advocate Kirtinath Sharma Poudel, Ayush Badal, Maqbul Miyan, Khadga Bahadur Shah, Dambar Prasad Siwakoti, Dal Bahadur Dhami, Prakash Bhujel, Bipin Dhakal, and Dr. Premraj Silwal submitted the writ petitions.
